Over twenty years ago Mr. Kauffman, an ex-Amish man of big ideas and a truckload of faith, started a company building sheds in Madison, NY while pastoring a church.
The business eventually moved roughly forty-five miles south to Bainbridge, where it grew. Mr. Kauffman later moved west and left the company to his sons. After 2008, both sons relocated west to pursue their own ventures.
Darwin, who'd worked alongside the family for years, took over the original Bainbridge operation alongside his brother Justin. The company still lives up to the same morals and high standards left behind in the 1990s — building storage sheds, garages, pole buildings, and cabins from 2514 County Road 35 in Bainbridge, NY.
